Proactive Front-End Developer
Hi, I'm André, a proactive and dedicated front-end developer with a strong drive of becoming Full-Stack. My background is a mix of graphic design, marketing, and intercultural communication. I completed a 20-month long vocational course in Front-end Development + API Development in Medieinstitutet, where I gained expertise in TypeScript, Form Validation, Basic + JWT Authentications, API Development integrations with MySQL || MongoDB, Agile methodology, prototyping / wireframing and frameworks like React.js and Prisma plus a deep dive in Firebase as a BaaS platform. My education also included an extensive internship, providing a great practical experience in the industry.Full-Stack Developer in the Making
I'm currently pursuing my full-stack development ambitions through a C# course with Malmö University. On top of that, I'm diving deeper into Node.js and its integration with OpenAI in my spare time. I'm also exploring cool tech like Docker, GraphQL, Nestjs, and Go, along with HTMX & Templ.Work Experience with Rental Buddy
During my internship with Rental Buddy, I played a key role in the company's rebranding and international expansion efforts. I worked on integrating new fields between there admin app and their booking plugin app, embedding Google Customer Reviews, and developing an onboarding page for Igloo Lockers. I gained some real-life experience in project management using Agile methodology, with tools such as ClickUp, Slack, and GitLab. Before transitioning to front-end development, I worked as a graphic designer and marketing specialist. I have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a technical degree in Visual Communication. A food guide app that allows users to send suggestions of places to eat all around Sweden to be added by an admin user.It also allows users to filter places to eat based on the type / category of the estabilishment.

Legends of Runestone RPG is an immersive text-based RPG game with Svelte on the frontend and C# on the backend. Players create characters, engage in dice-based battles, and level up through strategy and chance. Future plans include advanced battle mechanics, enemy AI improvements, real-time multiplayer, and dynamic quests.

Another tarot reading web application with plans to offer multiple types of readings of Aleister Crowley and Frieda Harris's Thot Tarot deck. Built with Next.js, Shadcn/UI (reusable UI components) and Framer Motion. The backend is powered by Drizzle ORM, interface with a PostgresSQL database for data management and scalability.
